Gift Packs 

Bookstart is a nationwide scheme, run by the national charity Booktrust, and managed in Wirral by the Council’s Library Service. It encourages all parents and carers to enjoy sharing books with their children from as early an age as possible.

The scheme provides every child between 0-4 years of age with FREE packs of books and guidance materials for parents and carers. It aims to promote a lifelong love of books and is based on the principle that every child in the UK should enjoy and benefit from books from as early an age as possible.

There are two fabulous free gift packs available from any Wirral library and each contains two books. 

The packs can be collected from any Wirral Library or ask your Health Visitor for details. You do not have to be a library member or have a voucher from your Health Visitor to receive your pack.
