Wirral Council works in partnership with many organisations to help residents start work, start a business or develop their career.
Connexions offers a free and confidential service to people aged 13 to 19 or up to 25 years old for people with special educational needs. Their personal advisers can provide information on education, employment and training opportunities. They can also support young people to tackle any barriers that may be preventing them from achieving their full potential.
Jobcentre Plus operates from five centres in Wirral and offers a number of programmes and services to help Jobseekers, lone parents, people with a health condition or disability and others who may need extra help in finding work. The Merseyside Funding Information Portal helps you to find out about funding and grants to help start and sustain your business. It includes:
