- Welfare Reforms, including changes to Housing and Council Tax Benefit and early indications of how Universal Credit will affect you
The Forums are also a great chance discuss issues face-to-face with property professionals and council staff. You can also network with other landlords and letting agents and speak to representatives of companies providing services relevant to you.
The Landlord forum is supported by ABC Property Shop, Bebington Glass and Glazing, Burd Ward Solicitors, Clearground Ltd, Finsa Finfloor, LBW Accountants, Manor Bourne who will be exhibiting at the event and will be available to answer questions about their services.

Private Landlord Forum Steering Group
The Private Landlord Forum Steering Group consists of landlords, agents and Council officers who meet on a regular basis. The Group was formed in early 2004 to organise Wirral’s Private Landlord Forum, which takes place every six months.
The meetings are open to all existing members of the Scheme or those working toward accreditation.
Before the Steering Group was formed, the Council arranged speakers around subjects it felt that landlords should hear. Now landlords and agents make that decision. That is why your feedback at the Forum is so important to us.
The current Chair of the Private Landlord Forum Steering Group is Todd Miller of Smith and Sons, who would be happy to receive any suggestions regarding future speakers. If you have any comments or ideas, please contact Todd Miller c/o the contact details at the top of the column on the right side of this page.
Landlord Focus Group
The Landlord Focus Group consists of Landlords, Managing Agents and Council Officers and was formed in late 2002. The Group meets on a regular basis to discuss regeneration issues including Landlord Accreditation.
The meetings are open to all members of the Scheme or those working toward accreditation.
