Private Sector Landlord Liaison Officer

The Private Sector Liaison Officer can help with private sector housing in a number of ways:

  • Assist tenants in securing private sector housing, and access floating support if required, to help keep tenants in their homes.
  • Provide help to tenants applying for Housing Benefits to minimise delays to payments.
  • Advise on Best Practice for landlords and tenants.
  • Work with Landlords on a range of issues including landlord/tenant mediation, advising on the legality of notice and possession proceedings and the prevention of homelessness.
  • Develop the Bond Scheme and liaise with landlords regarding their tenants accommodated under the scheme.
  • Provide a point of contact for both Landlords and Letting Agents.
