Support for Businesses located in clearance areas

The Housing Market Renewal Fund was set up by the Government in 2003.

Since then, the Council has investigated the future of houses, land and commercial interests located in areas of ‘high housing market stress’ on the eastern side of the borough. These studies have helped to inform investment decisions that are helping to provide more stable and sustainable neighbourhoods in these areas.
