Bulk waste Duty of Care

You may also consider using one of the many “man and a van” type services that frequently advertise in local papers and telephone service directories.  Please note that you have a duty to ensure that whoever takes your waste has the necessary authority to transport and dispose of waste.

Always ask where your waste will be taken for disposal and obtain a written receipt. If you do not take reasonable precautions and your waste is subsequently discovered fly tipped you could be prosecuted and fined for failing in your duty of care.
