Purpose of the exercise:
To enable the adequate provision of waste management facilities (including disposal) in appropriate locations. The latest stage is consulting on proposed new and/or replacement sites in Halton, Liverpool, Sefton and St.Helens.

Who will be consulted and how:
Notification letters have been sent to contacts on the Local Development Framework database. A full copy of all consultation documents will be sent to Councillors, specific consultees, Wirral libraries, One Stop Shops and the public counter of the Technical Services Department at the Cheshire Lines Building.
