Notice of Public Inspection of Accounts

Following the completion of the annual Statement of Accounts they are available to the public for inspection and/or copying for a period of time.

Anyone who is interested person can also exercise their right to raise issues in relation to the accounts with the District Auditor during the audit of accounts process (normally up to the end of September each year). 

The next inspection period, for examining Wirral Council's 2011/12 Annual Accounts, will be in Summer 2012 and the dates will be published on this web page.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires public bodies to provide a general right of access to ‘recorded’ information.
