Voluntary Community Action Wirral (VCAW)

VCAW is a Wirral wide infrastructure organisation. It provides training, advice, support and information for new and existing voluntary sector organisations throughout Wirral. 

VCAW is the Council's preferred supplier of voluntary sector infrastructure and coordination services.

Wirral CVS (Council for Voluntary Services)

Wirral CVS is a registered charity supporting more than 700 other local charities and community groups and hundreds of individuals.

The organisation helps community and voluntary organisations to work together and develop a stronger influence over local policies, benefiting everyone.

Their role is to help combat social, physical, educational, health and economic disadvantage, poverty and discrimination, and improve the quality of life for communities, groups and individuals.

They provide charities and community groups with information, advice, networking and learning opportunities, funding support and development services including the resources needed to help with setting up, running and managing a charity or community group.

Wirral CVS was established in 1991 to serve the community across the borough of Wirral.

Wirral 3rd Sector Assembly (Wirral 3SA)

Wirral 3rd Sector Assembly provides a platform for community engagement and empowerment.

It is not a service provider but exists to support and facilitate the VCF sector role for the Local Strategic Partnership.

Wirral Voluntary and Community Sector Network is hosted by VCAW (see above).
