Mortuaries

Arrowe Park Hospital provides the Wirral mortuary service on behalf of Wirral Council. The facility:

• provides somewhere where bodies can be taken and stored for the coroner
• helps forensic pathologists with autopsies
• provides a place for the viewing of bodies
• gives information and advice
• is part of the emergency service's major incident plan
