Worried about a child?

Most children who are being abused don't tell anyone about it. There are possible signs of abuse that we should all look out for.

These signs might include:

  • A child who is often bruised or injured
  • A child who is often very dirty or smelly
  • A child who is often hungry
  • A child who is often left at home alone
  • A baby crying constantly
  • A child who is often withdrawn
  • A child who displays sexually inappropriate behaviour

Safeguarding children is the responsibility of everyone in the community. If you are worried that a child might be being abused, don't keep it to yourself. Call one of the numbers below and share your concerns.
