Adoption

Adoption: fitting families together
What is adoption?
Adoption is a way of providing a permanent family for children who can no longer be brought up by their birth parents.
When someone adopts, they take on all the legal rights and responsibilities for that child. They hold all the responsibilities and decision-making rights of birth parents and take on the full care of a child into early adulthood and beyond.
It is a lifelong commitment the same as any other parent. This means accepting the child or young person as a member of the family through good times and bad. It may not always be easy but it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.
There are children in Wirral waiting for suitable adoptive parents.
