Our objective is to obtain best value for the procurement of supplies and services for the Council. Our forecast expenditure for the 2010-2011 financial year is approximately £150m.

The Council operates a fair and open competition by following transparent and auditable procedures in all its tendering and contracting activity. It aims to provide a wide range of businesses with a variety of commercial opportunities.
