Hairdresser licensing

All Hairdressers and Hairdressing premises must be registered with the Local Authority.

Council byelaws cover the hygiene and cleanliness of instruments, towels, equipment, and hairdressing businesses. You may be required to have a copy of the certificate of registration and copies of the byelaws displayed in your premises.

You can now download an application to apply for registration as a hairdresser.
