Grant of a premises licence

Applicants are required to serve a copy of their application and accompanying documents on the Licensing Authority and a copy of a notice of the application on all Responsible Authorities.

Please be advised that Form A should be completed if there is a single applicant and Form B when there is more than one applicant.

Applicants are required to advertise their application both on site and in a local newspaper. Under Gambling Act 2005 the notice is in a prescribed form.

Variation of a premises licence

Applicants are required to serve a copy of their application and accompanying documents on the Licensing Authority and a copy of the notice of their application on all Responsible Authorities.

Transfer of a premises licence

Applicants are required to serve a copy of their transfer application on the Licensing Authority and a copy of the notice of the application on the following Responsible Authorities - Licensing Authority, the Gambling Commission, Chief Officer of Police, department that deals with matters for the protection of children from harm and Her Majestys Commissioners of Customs and Excise.

Reinstatement of a premises licence

Applicants are required to serve a copy of their application on the Licensing Authority and a copy of the notice of the application on the following Responsible Authorities - Licensing Authority, the Gambling Commission, Chief Officer of Police, department that deal with matters for protection of children from harm and Her Majestys Commissioners of Customs and Excise.

Provisional statement

Applicants are required to serve a copy of their application and accompanying documents on the Licensing Authority and a copy of a notice of the application on all Responsible Authorities.

Applicants are required to advertise their application both on site and in a local newspaper or if there is one a local newsletter, circular or similar document which is circulated within the Wirral Council area.

Under Gambling Act 2005 the notice is in a prescribed form.
