Severe weather
The Meteorological Office has a vital role to play in public safety, issuing severe weather warnings. They warn Wirral Council and the local community about severe or hazardous weather that has the potential to cause widespread disruption. It is designed to advise on probable locations and duration of severe weather. Severe weather warnings will come to you via television, local radio or by word of mouth.
