How to pay your Council Tax

Set up a Direct Debit

The best way to pay Council Tax is by Direct Debit. You can pay your bill in 10 or 12 monthly instalments if you pay by Direct Debit.

If you pay by Direct Debit you can choose from a range of dates when you would like to pay - the 5th, 12th, 20th or 28th of each month.

Set up a Direct Debit

The first monthly instalment under the Direct Debit plan will always be at least 10 working days after we send you the bill.

If you are a current Direct Debit payer, you can change your bank details or payment date online. You will need your Council Tax account number and bank details ready.
