The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a nation-wide standard approach to conducting an assessment of the needs of a child(ren) and family and deciding how those needs should be met.
The Family Common Assessment Framework includes the whole family, parents, carers and other adults in the household whose un-met needs may be having an impact on children in the family.
