Use this form to apply for a license for temporary directional signs to a new housing development.
IMPORTANT: the new housing development must contain a minimum of 20 bedrooms (in total)

Cost

For any application (first or renewal) the costs are as follows and payment is required as part of the application:
  • Initial Application: 198 (last for 6 month period)
  • Initial Charge per Sign: 60
  • Application Renewal: 165 (required for each additional 6 months)
  • Renewal charge per sign: 50

What happens next?

Your application will be reviewed and we will investigate the suitability of the requested locations following the guidelines.
We will aim to respond to applications within 15 days.
PROOFS required to support the request are:
  • A copy of the relevant Public Liability Insurance.
  • Details of the location, number, wording and method of fixing of the signs.
  • A plan of the location equivalent to 1:1250 / 1:2500 but it does not have to be to scale e.g. copy of a street map highlighting the area
