Highway Improvements
The Council are responsible for:
- The design and supervision of major road improvement schemes
- Client liaison, design and supervision of road elements of regeneration schemes
- Other road maintenance and reconstruction schemes are managed by the Highway Maintenance Division.
- Public consultations for highway improvement schemes
- Commissioning and supervision of consultants
- Other services such as highways-related civil engineering advice, site surveys, preparation of drawings, standard details and standard contract documentation
