Cycling in Wirral
Wirral is a great place to cycle, with both coastal and countryside routes available for leisure rides, as well as a good road network for commuter cyclists.

Leisure Routes include the Wirral Way which forms part of Wirral Country Park. It is a 19Km (12 mile), predominantly traffic free path in Wirral and Runs from West Kirby into Cheshire. The National Cycle Network Route 56 also runs right through Wirral, again linking into Liverpool, Cheshire and into North Wales. In Wirral, it takes you around the historic coastline of Seacombe and New Brighton with views of the famous Liverpool skyline and across Liverpool Bay, as well as taking in many picturesque villages throughout Wirral.
