Welcome To Wirral

Grass cutting

Continental Landscapes were appointed in April 2003 to manage and maintain the roadside grass verges and shrub beds across Wirral. Our highway inspectors monitor performance throughout the year.

The contractor is also responsible for cutting the semi-rural and rural areas together with other sites involving specific degrees of difficulty such as wildflower meadows, dual carriageways, and sites with limited access.

The contractor is required to cut the grass a minimum of 18 times per year. Frequency of grass cutting is weather dependent.

Managing  the grass across the Borough means that areas look well kept and helps to make public areas tidy and attractive.

The Continental Landscapes website provides details of the grass maintenance programme and lists the last dates that grass cutting took pace across Wirral.
