Graffiti Removal
RACIST AND OFFENSIVE GRAFFITI
The Council remove racist and offensive graffiti from most property free of charge. We will visit the location within 24 hours of receiving the report to remove the offending graffiti. If the Council's contractor is unable to remove the graffiti within 24 hours, the offensive mark, writing or drawing will be painted over until removal can be arranged.
NON RACIST/ OFFENSIVE GRAFFITI
The Council removes all graffiti from its own property. This includes street furniture (e.g. lighting columns, bollards and road signs) council maintained buildings/structures and the highway. To report an incident either call StreetScene on 606 2004, email streetscene@wirral.gov.uk or click on the "Request Service" button.
Please note: The Council do not remove non-racist /non offensive graffiti from private property. Refer to your telephone directory or the internet to find companies operating in the local area who offer a graffiti removal service. We recommend you obtain at least three quotes, as prices tend to vary.
