Welcome To Wirral
Verge Maintenance
Wirral Council is responsible for cutting the grass verges to make sure that people can use Wirral's roads, pavements, public parks and open spaces safely. We arrange to have the grass cut on all council owned land, public parks and open spaces, school playing fields, grass verges on public highways, in town centres and in memorial gardens.
We do not cut grass that is privately owned or on properties and estates which aren't owned by the council.
The grass cutting is carried out by our contractor under the supervision of the Technical Services Department.
