Roadworks
Wirral Council carry out both planned and emergency repairs to keep Wirral’s roads and pathways safe and well maintained. Also, private companies such as United Utilities sometimes need to carry out roadworks to lay or repair pipes etc.

We inspect every street at least once a year and use this information to decide which ones need repairs the most. We then work out a programme of roadworks for the financial year, which your local ward councillors check and approve.
