Street Name Plates

The Council is responsible for the naming of streets within the local area and for ensuring that street name plates are provided and fitted in suitable positions.

They are also responsible for the repair and maintenance of street name plates. This becomes necessary either due to accidental damage, vandalism or normal wear and tear.

To report a damaged/missing street nameplate or to let us know what you think of our service, either call StreetScene on 606 2004, email streetscene@wirral.gov.uk or click on the "Request Service" button.
