Parking Zones
On-Street Pay & Display has been introduced in the Birkenhead Controlled Parking Zone, formerly the Disc Parking Zone. Residential areas within the zone allow free parking of residents’ or their visitors’ vehicles if displaying the appropriate permit. Other vehicles must display a Pay & Display ticket, valid for the period of stay, in order to park within the parking bays.
Vehicles parked within the parking bays without clearly displaying a valid Pay & Display ticket (or Resident’s / Visitor’s permit in designated areas), are liable to be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
