Drug Misuse
ACT: Your life, your call
ACT - 24 hour telephone helpline for drug misusers, parents, families and other professionals concerned about drug misuse and crime across Merseyside.
The ACT Helpline provides anyone using drugs in Merseyside with a telephone based support line which is designed to quickly move people into treatment services. The ACT Helpline is designed to enable any substance misuser - whether they are in police detention or in the community, to access immediate support, advice and information over the telephone and within the same call to be given an immediate (that is, next working day) appointment for face-to-face treatment or support.
The phone line also offers families and carers who are concerned about someone's drug use a unique signposting service to put them in touch with their local parent & family support network.
Accessing the ACT Helpline is easy. Simply call: 0800 028 1300 and a team of experienced, dedicated substance misuse staff are ready to take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
