Notification of Charge
People who use our services will receive a breakdown of the assessed charge whilst the Financial Assessment Officer is in their home. The assessed charge will be applied from the date of the visit.
If a person has been assessed as having insufficient total chargeable income to make contributions, there will not be a charge levied for the services received.
If a person’s assessed contribution is less than £2, there will not be a charge levied for the services received. This is because it is uneconomic to collect sums smaller than £2 per week.
