How does it work?

We will fit a personal alarm in your home using the phone and electric sockets that are already there. We will also provide a portable emergency button, which you can wear on a pendant or a clip. When you press the button on the personal alarm, it sends a call to our control centre where experienced staff can quickly contact a friend, neighbour or relative who can provide any help you need. If necessary, the control centre will contact the emergency services (police, ambulance or fire service).   

 

Extra services

There are also several other services available through People Care:

• We can contact you twice a week through the alarm system. We can offer you this service wherever you live.
• Visiting service - a mobile warden will visit you every week to check that all is well.
• Keyholder service - We can act as keyholder for situations when we cannot reach your next of kin or other named contact, but in an emergency situation, when any delay would put you in danger we would ask the emergency services to force entry
