General Adults Social Work Service
The team assess people under the 'Fair Access to Care Services' Guidelines.
The team works with
- Low level mental, physical or emotional health problems
- Aspergers syndrome/ Autism
- General acopia as a result of Alcohol/ Drugs misuse
- Personality Disorders
- HIV and sexual health
- Vulnerable Adults
The team also undertakes Adult Protection roles.
The Social Work Service may include:
- Community Care Assessments, support, information and advice
- Advice on accessing other services, such as Housing, Welfare Benefits, Counselling Support etc
- Appropriate support in accessing relevant benefits and charitable funds
- Co-working with other Social Workers and Voluntary Organisations in related fields
Translation services are available.
