Wirral Information Resource for Equality and Disability (WIRED)
WIRED exists to co-ordinate the needs of disabled people and society's concern with disability. The association provides a telephone advice service on all topics of concern to disabled people and their families. WIRED offers advocacy for adults under 65 with disabilities and advocacy for children in care, direct payments for people who buy direct care, benefits advice, information advice and guidance (IAG) learning and work for people with disabilities and skills guidance on work.
