People who use services who are missing or out of contact with services
What happens if a person who uses services provided by the Department of Adult Social Services is missing or loses touch with the organisation?
The Department of Adult Social Services has procedures in place in the event of a person who uses services being reported missing or out of contact for a period of time.
Home Care, Residential, Day and Nursing Services have procedures to manage situations where they are not able to gain access to a person's home or make contact with them.
What can I do if I am concerned about someone who is missing?
If you are concerned about a friend, relative or neighbour who uses services provided by the Department of Adult Social Services, please contact the Central Advice and Duty Team.
Telephone: 0151 606 2006.
