Information and advice on vaccinations
Immunisation plays an important part in protecting individuals and the community from serious disease. Vaccination is the name given to all forms of immunisation. A wide range of vaccines is available to protect against different infectious diseases. Your health advisor or GP can provide information on vaccinations. This may be for a child, or when going on holiday, or risks of infection faced by adults, for example a tetanus vaccination after an accident.
Please contact your GP by the following methods or see the NHS Direct website for more information.
