Residential Care for Children

Provision of residential accommodation for children and young people who cannot live with their natural families. Prior to a placement in residential accommodation there will be assessment of need undertaken in conjunction with the young person (and their family if appropriate), social workers and residential staff.

There are four residential accommodation homes:

Brookfield

Brookfield is a home for young people aged between 10 and 18 years old. We aim to provide a place for you to live in and feel safe until it is time for you to move on. There are things you will need to know to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. We want you to feel okay while you are here and there are lots of people who you will meet who are part of making that possible.

Poolwood

Poolwood is a home for young people aged between 10 and 18 years old. We aim to provide a place for you to live in and feel safe until it is time for you to move on. We want you to feel okay while you are here and there are lots of people who you will meet who are part of making that possible.

Rosclare

Rosclare is a home for young people with disabilties aged between 10 and 18 years old.

You can stay at Rosclare for 2, 3, 4, or even 7 nights each week. When you stay a Rosclare you will have two homes - one with us and one with your mum or dad.

When you stay at Rosclare we will try to make sure you have a good time. We will give you a chance to play and go out to different places.

Willow Tree

Willow Tree is a home for young people with disabilities aged between 10 and 18 years old. You can come and stay at Willow Tree for short breaks while your parent /carer is having a rest.

A short break can be for 1 or 2 nights or maybe 7 nights, and then you go home.

When you stay at Willow Tree we hope it will be with friends and you will have a good time. It will give you a chance to play and go out to different places.
