Hearing Aids
If you think you may have some hearing loss and are thinking about a hearing aid, you should make an appointment to speak to your GP.
If he or she thinks it is appropriate, they will refer you to the audiology department of your local hospital for further tests. There are different types of aid available and more information about these is available on a fact sheet from the Royal National Institute for the Deaf.
There is also a local clinic for repairing broken hearing aids.
