Moreton Centre for Adults with Learning Disabilities is situated next to the library in Pasture Road, near to Moreton Cross. 171 people currently use the service (November 2006).

What does the service do?

• Support people to access Recreational and Social activities within the community and in the centre.
• Support people to access work experience and job skills
• Support to access educational courses.
• Provide learning opportunities in-house in partnership with Life Long Learning
• Provide environment for physiotherapy and hydrotherapy activities.
• Provide opportunities and training for volunteers
• Provide work experience placements for Local Schools
• Provide a respite facility for parents and carers.

The team are able to provide general information and advice and where appropriate take referrals for Adult Social Services for detailed enquires and requests for a service.
