Equipment for Disabled People
There are many different types of equipment available that may provide help to those with a disability.
Such equipment includes walking sticks,wheelchairs and zimmer (a lightweight aid with rubber castors or wheels and handles that provide support for frail or disabled people as they walk). If you feel you would benefit from this sort of aid, you should speak to your GP who will make a referral to physiotherapy.
