Summary of Services Provided.

The Wallasey YMCA provides play/youth clubs on four evenings a week. Monday ages 12 – 15 at 7pm – 9pm Tuesday ages 9 – 11 at 6pm – 7pm Friday ages 5 – 8 at 5 – 6.30pm. On Thursday evenings we have Kids Excel class which is a fun exercise session for ages 5 – 8 at 5-6pm. Thursday evenings we also run issue based workshops for the 13+ age range from 7 – 9pm. Issues explored vary as identified by the young people. All of the clubs are open to any children/young people interested. There is an admission charge of £1 for all activities except for the 13+ issue based workshop which is free of charge.

We also have a fitness suite and exercise classes that run regularly. We run basic Maths and English classes and have other clubs running from our premises such as Slimming World, Weightwatchers, a local History group, Harlequinns and a Healthy Eating Group. We have rooms that can be hired out at reasonable prices, including a conference room and coffee bar. We are a developing service and are open to ideas and suggestions from the local community.
