Brief description of service:
To work primarily with young people aged 13-25, to enable them to make positive changes in their lives and to give them aspirations, skills and confidence to gain employment.
Youth activities directed towards 13-25 year olds day and evening programmes; an extensive programme of personal development directed towards those young people who find it difficult to cope in a mainstream environment; support for those in danger of, or excluded from local secondary schools; confidence and self esteem programmes for those preparing to move onto a training programme, young-mums-to-be programme and an open Thursday evening youth activities session.
We carry out a small amount of work with junior age group in order that we may build up relationships.
A counselling service for adults, available to the parents of the young people with whom we work or the young people themselves.
