Brief description of service:
Charity working with children and young people who are at risk or who have been abused. Also provide staff training, policy writing and consultation. Areas of expertise include risk assessment, trauma, abuse, sexual exploitation, child trafficking, internet abuse, domestic violence, counselling and psychotherapy.
Over the past two years the service has developed into three main areas:
Risk = Triangle programme (self harm), SOS programme (risk), Inside/out group (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual young people at risk) and Legal work (risk).
Abuse and recovery = commissioned therapeutic work and Legal work relating to physical, sexual and emotional abuse, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and internet abuse.
Rights and participation = independent advocacy for looked after children and a BTEC in Peer education course
