Training (LSCB)
Everyone has a responsibility for the safeguarding needs of children and young people. A Safeguarding Training Strategy and a Booklet has been produced in Wirral aimed at supporting people working at different levels of responsibility to build on and or consolidate their knowledge of safeguarding issues, including child protection processes.
Crucially, it also aims to achieve a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities, improved communication between professionals and others working with children, young people and families, and improving effective working together based on sound working relationships and improved decision-making.
