LSCB Membership
Wirral’s Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) is the body that organises how organisations will work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and for ensuring the effectiveness of what they do.
It works with statutory, voluntary and independent sectors and is accountable to the Director of Children's Services, who is accountable to the Children's Services Authority.
The board is Chaired by the Director of Children’s Services and members include local authority heads of service, doctors, lawyers, youth engagement experts, probation managers and child health experts.
