We take our role in child protection very seriously and seek at all times to work in partnership with families and other support agencies. A consultation and advice service is available from the Safeguarding Unit- call 0151 666 4442.

Application for service

The Department is required to gather certain information at the point of contact when someone requests help. The Department may provide services to meet the needs you have, subject to an assessment of need. However, please note that this is not a fully secure internet site and the Council does not encrypt data which is transferred to the CADT. If you are concerned about sending personal information over the Internet please use the telephone contact centre to provide us with more detailed information.
