If you have had involvement with Wirral Social Services or Wirral Children and Young People’s Department as a child, there may be some written information about you.
If you would like to receive a copy of the information please contact the Data Compliance Officer on 0151 666-4239, an application form will be sent to you for completion.
If you have received a service from Wirral Social Services or Adult Social Services as an adult please contact the Data Protection Officer on 0151 666-4787, an application form will be sent to you for completion.
Under The Data Protection Act 1998 the Department has 40 days in which to process your request in accordance with the Act.
We endeavour to meet this deadline, but in some cases it may take longer due to the volume of paperwork.
The worker involved will keep you informed throughout the process.
You can read more about the process in this public information leaflet
