Help for carers who support people with mental health needs

If you are looking after someone who has mental health problems the Department of Adult Social Services may be able to arrange help for you, or put you in touch with suitable organisations.

A great deal will depend on the assessed level of need and the resources available. The leaflet below explain what social services does, who we can provide services for how we work out what services would best meet your needs and the types of services we can offer.
