Wirral Culture for All - FAQ
Listed below are some of the questions people ask most often about Wirral Culture for All and Wirral's response to Liverpool's year as Capital of Culture generally - if you have a differetn question, please contact Clare Naylor on 0151 691 8255 or clarenaylor@wirral.gov.uk
Q. How can I get regular information about events happening in Wirral?
A. Sign up to receive a monthly eBulletin which lists key events, along with other news and opportunities to get invovled in cultural activities. Send an email to clarenaylor@wirral.gov.uk asking to be included. Also, keep checking the events page on this site, or pick up the Wirral Events Guide leaflet in your local library or One Stop Shop.
Q. Will you circulate a flyer about my event with your eBulletin?
A. Sorry, but the eBulletin is deliberately kept to two sides of A4 for two reasons: (a) we don't want to overload people with numerous flyers and posters and they are more likely to read the whole eBulletin if it's quite short and (b) because it goes out to hundreds of recipients, any attachments will have an impact on our email system.
Q. I am a local performer or artist. How can Culture for All help me?
A. Wirral Council does not have an arts development officer, but you may find the Culture for All help pack useful and if you are working with a community group on an event this year, we may be able to help publicise it.
Q. We are holding an event - can you help us publicise it?
A. As far as possible we will publicise local events that celebrate Wirral's arts and culture, but to help us do this we need to know - as fas as possible in advance - the name, date and location of the event plus a contact number or website. Ideally we would like full details of the event plus one good quality jpeg image at least two weeks before the event.
