Wirral Archives Service - Events
The events page will list all events that Wirral Archive Services will be hosting or attending:
- Saturday 1 November 2008: Wirral Archives Service will be represented at the North West Group of Family History Societies’ Family History Day Fair at St George’s Hall, Liverpool
- 14 November 2008 - Official Launch of Wirral Archive Service
The relocation of Wirral Archives Service to its new premises in the Cheshire Lines Building, Shore Road, Birkenhead, will be marked by an official opening on Friday 14 November 2008.
Our improved Service will be formally opened by Frank Field, MP for Birkenhead, at 2 p.m.
There will be two workshops in the afternoon to which anyone interested in local or family history is warmly invited:
3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Family history resources at Wirral Archives Service
4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Maps of the Wirral – an introduction to local history
