Sports coaching
Get involved with Sports Development in your area and help create a network of sporting opportunities for young people.
The Sports Development Team can provide the following services:
- Assist with the personal development of coaches, either by providing a qualification to get you started or by developing your coaching knowledge and experience.
- Offer nationally recognised awards, sometimes at little or no cost, which can lead to employment opportunities.
- Provide the opportunity to work at competitions or events.
Coach Education:
A programme of training workshops is provided in partnership with Merseyside Sport and Training Agents, Sports Coach UK, Running Sport, British Red Cross and St. Johns Ambulance.

Sports Leaders UK
Sports Leaders UK provide nationally recognised qualifications which can provide a stepping stone to employment, further education, or additional training.
