Welcome To Wirral
Wirral BookFest
Fuel your imagination at your local library...

The second Wirral Bookfest takes place between 12 - 18 October 2009 and follows on from the huge success of the inaugural celebration in April 2008. Once again it will be a diverse, informative and entertaining week with more than 20 events taking place across many of the borough's libraries.
More than 1,400 people attended BookFest events last year and the festival has been widely praised for its variety, quality and accessibility. Wirral Libraries, who are organising the festival once again, hope that this year will prove event more popular, particularly with guests such as the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy lined up to appear.
